Finding Love - Noriko Kinoshita

 

   I prefer to find a partner in real life. I’ve never used any dating apps because I’m anxious about meeting with unknown people in real life.

   In fact, a friend of mine in Japan used dating app to find a partner. She chatted with a man in the app and decided to meet him in person. However, once she met him, it was turned out that he was quite insincere person. To avoid something like this, I want to get to know each other through face-to-face communication. 

  On the other hand, although it is not for me, I can say dating app is an ideal medium to find a partner. It might be easier to find a partner via app than in real life since all users are looking for a partner.

    I agree that dating app has both an advantage and a disadvantage. It is persuasive that you have information your friend experienced.

    I agree with you and Hanako that using a dating app could lead to both outcomes. However, even though, we live in a world that we have all the advanced technologies, I still prefer to meet someone in real life just like you.

    One of my friends said something similar to what your friend said. So, we have to remember that using apps isn’t a perfect way to find love, and it’s not always ideal.

    I agree with, I don't know anyone had the same experience like what happened with your friend. But I guess it's something u have to expect to happen if u contact with someone u don't have any idea about him.

    I liked how you used the word "insincere." Sincerity is a good quality to seek for in a partner. However alongside it, I would like to see kindness & good will.

    I agree. Your friend's experience shows that dating apps can lead to issues like insincerity. The key is, whether online or in real life, if someone isn’t right for you, cut ties quickly to avoid bigger problems later.

  I disagree the result of personal test which I am assessed as innovator. I don’t see myself as imaginative, sociable and sympathetic. I like to talking, but I rarely start conversations myself. I also disagree that I assessed as creative, I think creative person act out of line, but I behave as a normal people and have not professionality anything. I only agree with that I am assessed as rebellious. I used to don’t follow what teacher says in school. I did what I wanted to do freely.

  I totally agree with this result. I think one of my strengths is being conscientious and mature. I always care about other people’s feelings and try to see things from different perspectives. This result also says that I tend to avoid conflict, which is true because I don’t like trouble or arguments with others. I try to avoid them as much as possible, even if it means enduring something unpleasant. However, I know that avoiding conflict is not always a good thing and sometimes doesn’t lead to productive outcomes.  If I had to disagree with one point, it would be that others take advantage of me. I’ve never felt that way. If I realized that someone was trying to take advantage of me, I would make sure to express my opinion clearly.
